Overheard in my class this morning:
Korang, jomla hangout same-same, kita buat soalan final QMT nak?
Okay, so, it is official.My classmate has reached a certain state of mental instability in which he can't differentiate the difference between Hangout and Hang oneself. A pity.
You see, people always says how we Gen Ys are only bookwise, but never streetwise. We burried ourselves in books and refuse to let our hair down even when the situation requires us to. We assured them we are nothing like that.
Overheard in everyday conversation when we bumped into friends on the street(xkisahla on the street ke dalam shower, nak pergi mandi pergi kelas tu kan):
Hey, u.. dah siap assignment Housing Personal Finance tu?
Damn. Why don't we greet our friends like how we used to anymore? How are you? How have you been? Seen any good movie recently? But no, whether we realize it or not, the pressure on students' academics performance has taken a toll on all of us. Sadly, we don't enjoy campus life as much as we should.
A good friend of mine once told me that College Life is a three- year party before I got in UiTM. Ironic.
